Yell-OH!

Yellow is probably a happy colour,
It gives hope and rays of light,
It fills the heart with a weird peace and a feeling of contentment,
It IS a happy colour,

Yellow rays,
Yellow pillows,
Yellow room,
Yellow curtains,
Yellow flowers..

NO! I never loved yellow,
But it's a happy colour,
And it gives you the impression that everything is good,
It gives you the impression that life is easy and fearless,
It lures you into a strange joyfulness,
It condemns you to be optimistic.


But when the light goes off,
When the darkness takes place,
Even the yellow-est place on earth seems grim,
Even the yellow-est things seems dull,

When dark times prevail,

You come back to reality,

And you have to admit that yellow is just a facade,
It gives you the impression..
But the truth is that nothing is peaceful,
Happiness is not forever,
It takes merely some seconds to get back to the dark reality of life,

NO,

I never loved Yellow,

A pink world is such a better place to live in =]

I wish the world was a better place!

               

This picture was taken today at Tamarin,
It looks like one of the most beautiful places ever,
I wish people could see beyond this beauty,
I wish people could see the horrible life children have to live there,
I wish people could feel the miseries of those growing in poverty,
I wish people could make a move to change the world,


I wish this world was a better place,
And children do not have to suffer anymore,
It might be a common thing,
But when you listen to those children,
When you become part of their problems,
It is only then that you can truly understand what they go through daily,
And then you wish you could do something to change this world,
You wish you could do something to help people,


But the truth is that not much can be done!
The truth is that you can only help by being a listener,
This is the world,
It is probably too late to even consider changing it.

Good Bye June!

June's over!
It's been terribly LONG.
I never liked June and I am glad it's over =]


I am impatiently looking forward to July ♥
Because of numerous things,
But most importantly because "I have stuck with Harry until the very end!",
YES =]


"All was well" are the last words of Harry Potter,
And I wish I could say the same for the muggle-world!
But hey, it could have been worse,
Winter is [not winter according to the many friends of mine who came for holidays [Belgium is a horrible place, I am telling you 8-)]!] amazing =]
Work is the best thing ever,
And the rest,
Well the rest, I believe, will make much sense in the end!


Because in the end it is always worth it =]

Tomorrow is unknown to us!

 “You must give up the life you planned in order to have the life that is waiting for you.”


Because this quote holds a lot of truth,
And has the capacity to describe exactly what many of us go through daily, or sometimes,


The life we planned : Happy,Sunny,Healthy,Wealthy,Lovely, with all the best people out there by our sides and fame probably in some cases.

The life we live : Totally another story.

Why?
Maybe because reality is hard,
Living in a dream might be amazing,
Planning each and every detail of our tomorrow seems exciting,
But it is hardly what happens the next day,
Very often we are unaware of what our tomorrow reserves us,
Despite all our planning and hoping,
A lot of times,
The contrary happens - be it for the best or for the worst!


Sometimes it is important that what we plan does not happen,
Because it helps us change our perspective on Life and other important issues,
And sometimes it is unfair,


Because we work hard to make the perfect tomorrow,
And the next moment we open our eyes,
Reality is a nightmare,
Dreams remain dreams!

Then, there are those who will go to any extent to make their tomorrow look like it appeared in their mind,
Sometimes they overcome their fears and surpass themselves,
And sometimes they make use of hypocrite ways to achieve their goals, hurting people, and forgetting about their own selves,
They become that merciless person who's thirsty for [not blood!] power or fame or happiness,
They become oblivious to the fact that happiness is found not into living for ourselves,
But in sharing the little we have with the many people around us =]


V:"Harry Potter, why do you live?"
H:"Because I have something worth living for!"


Planning our tomorrow is what we want to do,
But very often tomorrow is a different story,
To be able to accept that tomorrow can reserve us anything,
We need to give up on planning,
We need to embrace what has been planned beforehand for us,
We need to believe in the life that is waiting for us,
It is only then, that we can live our every dream,
It is only then, that everything we planned will take place!

Forever is a lie.

"A Best Friend is a myth" ~ME? 

[I don't know if someone else said it before, but yeah, I am!]


Why this thought?
Probably because I have had enough of the BFF BS?
Not that my "BFF" have never been there when I needed them,
Only because "BFF" is just a LIE?
If FOREVER is a lie,
How can a BFF even be real?

As you go down the memory lane,
You realise you've had a lot of people pretending,
Maybe you have been one of them too?
But what picks your attention mostly is the very frequent loss of some one dear? [Friends mostly]


If before you thought it was a childhood friendship that had to end,
During your teenage days you believe you finally found out who your true friends are,
And today, when you stand alone, an adult,
You know friends forever is nothing but a mere title you gave somebody you wanted to be by your side till the end,
And you know today, it is quite impossible for you to accept the fact that, that somebody has been always loyal to you and your sometimes miserable life?


The truth is no one is your friend,
The people you spend time with are just people that you met during a period of your life,
Who were constantly there during that particular time of your life, helping you perhaps,
And when the time for them has come to go,
They will leave without turning back,
Whether it's been ten years or two weeks,
No one is your friend,
The people you meet along the journey of Life are only mere travellers,
Travellers who are trying to find a place in this world too,
Who are going to be there until the next cross-road,
Who are going to leave for their own purposes,


Those travellers were once strangers and shall always remain so,
It does not do to call every new person you meet your BFF,
Because yeah, a BFF is a myth!




At some times of your life, you are going to be a loner,
And perhaps,
These are going to be the best times of your life,
Because it is only then that you are going to understand,
Who's who,
Where you belong,
And what you have to do next!

I shall survive too, I guess.
Right now, I feel like I have been left alone, to my sort and without any one to be by my side,
But what can I do?


This is The Life!
We've got to learn to stand up on our own,
Even if it means being ALONE.
When you have been through SO much,
Being alone does not hurt much,
If it gets difficult,
Life shall find some new ways to entertain me =]


It never killed to pretend that all's well,
And to believe that everything will be fine,


People leave,
It's nothing new,
I have learned to get over each and every one of you!
Even if you are my "BFF".

Life is too short to spend it crying over our miseries!

Hello People =]

I was browsing through my fb, 

And I saw a teacher of mine, from high school,

With a brand new album,

She's suffering from cancer,

And she's probably one of the strongest person I know,

When I was at school,

She used to be one of those people whose class anyone would love,

Because she loved us, and she has an immense love for teaching I suppose,

She is one of the people who for sure left an imprint on me during my school days,

She is one of those people to whom you could listen for hours,

Even if sometimes she was just talking about her life,

I knew she was a strong person,

But now I've actually got the proof,

She has a zeal for living-a zeal I have never seen before in any other person,

She is actually fighting to LIVE,

and that's what makes the whole difference between HER and the people that gives up on themselves as soon as they learn they are suffering from sth as serious as Cancer,

She is a living example I believe of those who strive to reach a goal in life,

She has been facing a lot of other difficulties before,

But she has always been a fighter,

She knows it ain't easy,

But she never stop smiling,

And I believe she is going to come victorious,

Not only because she is a strong person,

But because she loves life,

And she knows that Life is meant to be lived,

No matter what happens,

No matter how many difficulties she has to face,

I Know she is going to rise from every fall and win every fight =]

Today, I went in a random school,

And the educational psychologist guiding me told me things which made me realise how lucky we were tohave been Loreto girls,

She was herself a Tifi Lorette,

And when you go to other schools,

You realise the REAL difference between a Loreto girl/or any other confessional school stud and those kids from random schools,

We grew up in an environment where we were loved,

We were instructed to be adults of tomorrow,

We were educated with care,

We had a culture of our own,

You might criticise/refute this as much as you want,

The truth is that we were brought up in a different and BETTER way ^^
I have friends from like the "Best" schools in the country,

But dude-see the way they behave/think : they are totally stuck up people!
