The best year of the Upper '09 girls' lives.
Why? Basically the last year at LCC or any other high schools is always very special to us girls,
During our last year at LCC,
Every single event,
Every single day was memorable to most of us,
Probably because during our upper year,
We realise there is no turning back,
There is not going to be another chance to be where we were : LCC.

LCC : The place which shaped our identity,
           The place which gave us friends,
            The place which taught us that not only education mattered, there is more than just that in life.


2009 was marked by our usual events,
The cross, The Sports day, The Music Day, The Independence Day and so on.
But that year those events were more than just mere ones,
Every single event brought memories, brought hope, brought more friendship.


2009's rain practically made it impossible for us to hold our annual Cross Country,
But eventually it happened,
And it was as bright a day as ever,
With the annual but breath-taking end of day : I still remember every one singing at the top of their lungs,
Maybe like we never did before : "Kelele Kelele Ow ooh Ow ooh LCC!"

The same applied for our amazing Sports day which was animated by the Upper girls,
Amongst which Anishta Roochan who's been probably the most popular Student Council of her time!

The 2009 Fancy Fair remains probably the best day of LCC '09 :
With the rain, the sun, the stalls, the games, the people, the shows,
Everything about our Fancy Fair and the making of it was memorable,
It brought every LCC girl together as one,
And that's probably one of the events that highlights the spirit and sincerity of the LCC girls towards each other, and our beloved school!

We were also bestowed in 2009 with the presence of the Komiko crew which performed for all of us,
And brought some light and funny notes to our every day routine.

However what marked the Upper 2009 mostly was our Retraites and our last week at school,
Like every year, 
Every single teacher and the rector made it a must to make us feel LCC was our home,
The last week bonded each and every Upper 2009 to each other,
And that's what made the beauty of 2.0.0.9.

The End of year mass,
All the girls singing "You raise me up",
Finally ringed a bell that it was our last chance,
It's still fresh in every one's memory I guess,
The song, The tears, The flowers,
THE LCC FAMILY : Nothing can be equal to that feeling.

The days that ensued brought us together singing "Ce n'est qu'un au revoir" at the end of the Annual Bilan,
Which was probably the most intense moment of Upper '09,

Lastly,
Our End of Year Party :)
The disguises,
The teachers,
The whole school,
Made it one awesome year,
And probably the best year of our lives,

LCC '09 resembles most of the other years,
The only thing which was different,
Could be felt only by those who left that year,
The Upper 6 2009.
